Press ⌘K anywhere in the app and start typing. Ctrl + K on Windows and Linux.
It searches more than tickers. Company names, the app's own pages (portfolios, screener, lists, calendar) and, when you're already on a stock, that stock's sections, so you can get from the summary to the dividend tab without reaching for the sidebar.
Open it with an empty box and it offers the companies you looked at most recently, which is usually the one you were after anyway.
The search box on the home screen opens the same palette, so there's only one of these to learn.
