The company offers container chassis, flatbed, side-wall, and stake trailers; curtain-side, van, and refrigerated trailers; liquid and dry bulk tank trailers; and dump semi-trailers, terminal trailers, and sanitation trucks. It also provides truck bodies for urban dump trucks and fully-assembled vehicles of concrete mixers. In addition, the company develops, produces, and sells various special vehicles, mechanical products, and metal structure parts. Further, it engages in the sale of automobiles, auto parts, metal materials, hardware and electronic equipment, mechanical equipment, and chemical products; import and export of goods; and provision of information and trade consulting services. It markets and sells its products under the Tonghua, Huajun, SCVC SAILING, CIMC RJST Tank Trailer, Lingyu Vehicles, TB, Pioneer Series, CIMC Light Tower, and Liangshan Dongyue brands in China; and Vanguard, CIE, SDC, and LAG brands internationally. The company was formerly known as Shenzhen Tianda Heavy Industries Ltd. and changed its name to CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. in May 2005. The company was incorporated in 1996 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China.
