The company's primary focus lies in ophthalmic solutions, addressing a variety of eye conditions. Its pipeline for glaucoma and ocular hypertension includes several key assets: DE-111, currently in Phase III clinical trials; DE-117, available for sale in Japan; DE-126, progressing through Phase IIb trials; DE-128, which is on the market in Europe and undergoing Phase II/III trials in the United States; and DE-130A, also in Phase III development. Beyond glaucoma, Santen's offerings extend to other ocular ailments. It provides DE-114A for allergic conjunctivitis and DE-076C for vernal keratoconjunctivitis. Furthermore, DE-109 is in Phase III clinical trials for the treatment of uveitis. The company is also active in addressing myopia with DE-127, currently in Phase II/III trials in Japan and Phase III in other Asian markets, alongside STN1013400, which is in Phase I trials. For dry eye, Santen offers DE-089C, which has successfully concluded its Phase III clinical trials. In addition to its prescription portfolio, the company produces and sells various over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products.
