This includes a TRPM8 blocker for neuropathic pain, a motilin receptor agonist targeting gastrointestinal motility disorders such as gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, and post-operative ileus, and a potassium-competitive acid blocker for GERD, which has successfully concluded Phase 1 clinical trials. Further early-stage developments encompass a 5-HT4 partial agonist for gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, and chronic constipation; a 5-HT2B antagonist for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea; EP4 antagonists for canine pain management and, in separate Phase I trials, for cancer and general pain indications; a serotonin 5-HT2A and dopamine D2 receptor blocker for schizophrenia; a Cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor (Phase I for pain); a CB2 agonist; a selective sodium channel blocker; a P2X7 receptor antagonist (Phase I for neuropathic pain); and a retinoic acid receptor alpha agonist. To further its research and development initiatives, RaQualia maintains strategic partnerships with Interprotein Corporation, ASKA Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Epigeneron, Inc.
