SMK Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a global manufacturer and distributor of an extensive range of components for electronic and telecommunication devices. The company serves markets across Japan, the broader Asian region, North America, and Europe. Its operations are organized into three primary segments: Connection System; Sensing, Communication, and Interface; and the Research & Development Center. SMK's diverse product portfolio encompasses various types of connectors, including specialized board-to-board, board-to-wire, FPC, RF coaxial, interface, card, battery, power, and LED connectors. This category also features earth terminals, photovoltaic module connectors, fuse clips, DC power supply plug jacks, general terminals, and camera module sockets. Additionally, the company provides an assortment of plugs and jacks, such as mini, pin, and large versions. Beyond connectivity solutions, SMK produces a wide array of switches, including push, slide, multi-functional, and detector switches. Its offerings also extend to remote control units, both resistive and capacitive touch panels, and communication modules like Bluetooth and RF technologies. These components find application across numerous sectors, including home electronics, the automotive industry, wearable technology, renewable energy systems, housing facilities, entertainment devices, mobile technology, industrial equipment, healthcare products, and burgeoning IoT/LPWA applications.
