Within the Machinery segment, Mitsui E&S manufactures an extensive array of products, such as marine and stationary diesel engines, general marine equipment, gas engines, steam turbines, blowers, process compressors, gas turbines, cogeneration systems, regulating systems, various container and industrial cranes, container terminal management systems, HWM manipulators, induction heaters, and radar sensing equipment for underground and construction purposes. The Engineering segment undertakes projects encompassing renewable energy power generation plants, general power generation operations, overseas civil engineering works, and various treatment facilities for waste, water, resource recycling, and PCB disposal. Additionally, the company's business interests extend to information and communication equipment, transport apparatus, systems development, real estate leasing, and infrastructure-related ventures. Founded in Tokyo in 1917, the firm was previously known as Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
