Its primary objective is to optimize expenses, closely align with its benchmark—the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index—and strive for enhanced returns. Typically, the fund allocates a significant majority, at least 80% of its capital, to high-quality fixed income assets rated investment grade or better.
