Apetit Oyj operates as a prominent food company, with its primary activities spanning Finland, Norway, Germany, and Sweden, complemented by an international footprint. The company's operations are divided into three distinct segments: Food Solutions, Oilseed Products, and Grain Trade. Within its Food Solutions division, Apetit is responsible for developing, producing, marketing, and selling a range of frozen items, including vegetables, vegetable- and fish-based ready meals, and pizzas under the Apetit brand. This segment also encompasses offerings like burgers, nuggets, gratins, and arctic peas, alongside manufacturing products for private labels. The Oilseed Products segment focuses on vegetable and rapeseed oils, as well as other derivatives from oilseeds. Meanwhile, its Grain Trade segment handles grains, oilseeds, and raw materials destined for animal feed. Apetit additionally exports its various products and caters to a diverse customer base, including retailers, food service establishments, the food and animal feed industries, and the broader hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) sector.
