About Alligator Bioscience AB (publ)
Alligator Bioscience AB (publ) is a research-intensive biotechnology company based in Lund, Sweden, focused on developing innovative antibody-based treatments for cancer. The company leverages several proprietary technology platforms to drive its drug development. These include ALLIGATOR-GOLD and ALLIGATOR-FAB, an extensive human antibody library boasting roughly 60 billion distinct antibody fragments; FIND, a molecular evolution technique used for optimizing antibodies and other proteins; and RUBY, a specialized format for creating bispecific antibodies. Alligator Bioscience's pipeline features several promising candidates. In the clinical stage, Mitazalimab, an immunostimulatory CD40 antibody, has successfully completed Phase I trials for metastatic cancer. Also undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation is ATOR-1017, another immunostimulatory antibody designed to bind to the 4-1BB receptor on tumor-specific T cells. For its preclinical efforts, the company is advancing ALG.APV-527, a bispecific antibody targeting both 4-1BB and 5T4 for cancer therapy. Additionally, Alligator Bioscience holds an interest in the Biosynergy (AC101) project, which is currently in Phase I. To bolster its research and development capabilities, Alligator Bioscience has formed multiple strategic collaborations. It has a co-development partnership with Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. for ALG.APV-527, and a research alliance with MacroGenics, Inc. to create novel immunotherapies. Further collaborations include a joint research agreement with BioArctic AB (publ) to utilize proprietary antibody generation technologies for new product candidates, and a research and license agreement with Orion Corporation aimed at discovering and developing new bispecific antibody cancer therapeutics. The company was established in 2000.
