About CapitaLand China Trust
CapitaLand China Trust (CLCT), previously known as CapitaLand Retail China Trust, holds the distinction of being Singapore's largest real estate investment trust focused on China. Following a transformative acquisition that included five business parks and the remaining 49% stake in Rock Square, CLCT's enhanced portfolio now encompasses 13 shopping malls and five business park properties. This geographically diversified collection boasts a total gross floor area of approximately 1.8 million square meters, strategically distributed across 11 key Chinese cities. Listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) on 8 December 2006, CLCT was established with the objective of making long-term investments in a varied array of income-generating real estate and real estate-related assets in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. These properties primarily serve retail, office, and industrial functions, extending to business parks, logistics facilities, data centers, and integrated developments. CLCT's retail properties are strategically situated in densely populated urban centers, offering excellent connectivity to public transportation. They are designed as comprehensive, family-oriented destinations, presenting a wide spectrum of lifestyle options spanning shopping, dining, entertainment, and essential services. The malls feature a diverse mix of over 2,000 leases, including prominent brands such as UNIQLO, Xiaomi, ZARA, Haidilao, and Starbucks Coffee. Notable retail assets include CapitaMall Xizhimen in Beijing, Rock Square in Guangzhou, and CapitaMall Qibao in Shanghai. The five business parks are located within high-growth economic zones and house high-quality domestic and multinational corporations operating in new economy sectors like electronics, engineering, e-commerce, information and communications technology, and financial services. These parks benefit from superb connectivity and easy access via various transportation modes. Key examples include the Ascendas Xinsu Portfolio in Suzhou and the Singapore-Hangzhou Science & Technology Park Phase I and II in Hangzhou. CapitaLand China Trust is managed by CapitaLand China Trust Management Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Singapore-listed CapitaLand Limited, recognized as one of Asia's largest diversified real estate groups.
