These products serve a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, heavy commercial, construction, infrastructure, oil and gas, and defense industries, with operations spanning Canada, the United States, and international markets. The company's business activities are structured into three main segments: AirBoss Defense Group, Rubber Solutions, and Engineered Products. The AirBoss Defense Group is dedicated to creating, manufacturing, and supplying critical protective equipment. This includes healthcare and personal respiratory protection items, rapidly deployable negative pressure isolation shelters, and specialized cold-weather combat footwear. Additionally, it offers advanced chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) protective gear. Its primary customers are military organizations, law enforcement agencies, healthcare and industrial providers, and first responders. The Rubber Solutions segment focuses on the formulation and production of custom rubber compounds and blends, as well as calendered, extruded, and molded rubber materials. These are utilized in a wide array of applications and industries, such as automotive, heavy industrial, rollers, conveyor belting, defense, construction and infrastructure projects, mining, transportation, and the oil and gas sector. The Engineered Products segment designs, engineers, manufactures, and sells rubber, synthetic rubber, and rubber-to-metal bonded products. These innovative solutions are primarily used for the control or elimination of unwanted vibration and noise in industries like automotive, electric vehicles, heavy trucks, off-highway equipment, general industrial applications, and defense. Originally incorporated as IATCO Industries Inc., the company officially became AirBoss of America Corp. in April 1994. Its corporate headquarters are located in Newmarket, Canada.
