Beach Energy Limited operates as an enterprise primarily focused on the exploration and extraction of oil and natural gas. The company conducts both managed and joint-venture operations, across onshore and offshore environments, for crude oil and natural gas production in five active basins located throughout Australia and New Zealand. By June 30, 2022, the firm reported a production capability of 21.8 million barrels of oil equivalent and held 283 million barrels of oil equivalent in proved and probable reserves. Established in 1961, the company, formerly known as Beach Petroleum Limited, adopted its current name, Beach Energy Limited, in December 2009. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Adelaide, Australia.
