China Cable and Communication, Inc. (CCCI) operates within the cable television sector in the People's Republic of China. The company holds a 49% interest in Baoding Pascali Broadcasting Cable Television Integrated Information Networking Co., Ltd., a joint venture responsible for managing a cable television network in the Chinese municipality of Baoding. As of December 31, 2004, this joint venture delivered 39 television channels within the city limits and an additional 8 channels to the surrounding metropolitan areas. Its network supports both analog and digital transmissions over a fiber optic infrastructure. This robust system is further enhanced by 22 substations providing IP broadband local area network capabilities, 1,310 analog backbone ring networks that seamlessly connect the city, and 5 base transceiver stations. In addition to television services, CCCI offers Internet access and various value-added features, including high-speed broadband Internet and on-demand content, all accessible through its set-top boxes. The company's main office is located in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
