Established in 1866 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, DFDS A/S delivers a comprehensive range of logistics services, serving clients both within Denmark and globally. The company's operations are divided into two main segments: Ferry and Logistics. The Ferry division oversees numerous ferry routes throughout Europe, primarily facilitating the movement of freight, particularly trailers, as well as passengers. This segment also provides port terminal services. Its clientele is diverse, including freight forwarders, road transport operators, and manufacturers from sectors such as automotive, cold chain, consumer goods, retail, construction, waste management (refuse-derived fuel), forestry, metals, and chemicals.
