About Northern Lights Fund Trust - Ocean Park International ETF
The Ocean Park International ETF (DUKX) utilizes a distinct, proprietary trend-following methodology to invest in global equity exchange-traded funds that do not originate from the U.S. and are unaffiliated with the fund. These underlying ETFs, which can be either passively or actively managed, are permitted to invest in equities of any market capitalization within developed markets (excluding the U.S.) and emerging economies. DUKX anticipates dedicating almost all of its capital to these various ETFs. For investment selection, the fund's advisor establishes buy and sell triggers by computing the upper and lower boundaries of short-term exponential moving averages. A purchase signal is generated upon detecting a potential upward trend in a candidate ETF. Conversely, to curtail overall fund drawdowns, an ETF is divested once a sell signal is confirmed. After liquidating a position, the fund has the discretion to reallocate capital into another ETF or to temporarily hold cash equivalents. Such cash holdings might include U.S. Treasury bills, money market funds, and short-term, investment-grade bond ETFs. The fund operates without limitations regarding the number or nature of the underlying ETFs it may acquire. The advisor consistently evaluates and modifies the fund's asset allocation as deemed necessary.
