Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Eldorado Gold Corporation is an international mining firm, established in 1992. The company's activities encompass the exploration, development, extraction, and sale of various mineral products across its primary operating regions of Turkey, Canada, Greece, and Romania. While primarily producing gold, it also extracts silver, lead, and zinc. Eldorado Gold holds full ownership (100%) of significant gold mining assets such as the Kisladag and Efemcukuru mines in western Turkey, and the Lamaque gold mines in Canada. Its portfolio in Greece includes the Olympias, Stratoni, Skouries, Perama Hill, and Sapes gold mines. Furthermore, the company possesses an 80.5% interest in the Certej development projects located in Romania. This corporation, originally incorporated as Eldorado Corporation Ltd., officially adopted the name Eldorado Gold Corporation in April 1996.
