The ElecLink division is responsible for building and operating a 1-gigawatt electrical interconnector linking the UK and France. Beyond these core activities, Getlink SE also has interests in retail for third parties, telecommunications cabling, training initiatives, property ventures, and the distribution of travel insurance. Established in Paris, France, in 1986, the company operated as Groupe Eurotunnel S.E. until its rebranding to Getlink SE in April 2018.
