About Hidrovias do Brasil S.A.
Hidrovias do Brasil S.A. (HBSA) is a Latin American company specializing in comprehensive, end-to-end logistics solutions. Its diverse offerings include freight warehousing and handling, brokerage and agency services, domestic maritime transport (cabotage), general storage and distribution, specialized terminal management, inland waterway shipping, and the leasing of navigation assets. Additionally, the company operates a dedicated financial services unit. HBSA organizes its operations across distinct logistics corridors. The Southern Corridor primarily focuses on the riverine transport of bulk commodities – including grains, fertilizers, and iron ore – across the Paraná-Paraguay waterway, as well as pulp via the Uruguay River. Further supporting this, it operates a grain terminal in Montevideo. The Northern Corridor encompasses the Miritituba transshipment station and the private Barcarena terminal. This segment is bolstered by its proprietary fleet of pushboats and barges for efficient cargo movement. Established in 2010, Hidrovias do Brasil S.A. is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
