About Nomura ETF Trust - Nomura Focused Large Growth ETF
The LRGG exchange-traded fund, originally known as the Macquarie Focused Large Growth ETF, primarily invests in substantial U.S. corporations that demonstrate significant potential for expansion. Its main objective is to capitalize on high-quality stock selections to generate maximum long-term growth opportunities. The rigorous investment selection process integrates both qualitative and quantitative analyses. A thorough, bottom-up qualitative assessment seeks out companies with robust and sustainable competitive advantages, examining crucial aspects like brand loyalty, unique proprietary technology, efficient cost structures, return on capital, the caliber of management, and broader industry trends. Concurrently, quantitative measures are applied, scrutinizing financial indicators such as profitability, capital intensity, the effectiveness of capital allocation, cash flow generation, and overall valuation. This comprehensive approach initially identifies a pool of approximately 100 companies, which the fund managers designate as their "Franchise Growth Universe." From this curated list, the fund typically constructs a concentrated portfolio, holding between 15 to 25 companies. Positions may be divested if there are notable shifts in industry dynamics, if a company's competitive edge diminishes, in instances of ineffective leadership, or when the potential for future gains becomes constrained. Important Note: As of December 1, 2025, the fund's name will officially change from Macquarie to Nomura.
