It also provides IP and data services, encompassing virtual private networks (VPN), Ethernet connectivity, general internet protocol services, and Voice over IP (VoIP). Additionally, the company furnishes fiber infrastructure services, which feature high-capacity optical wavelength networks, unlit optical fiber leasing, and related professional support. Complementary offerings include various voice and other services, like private line connections for dedicated site-to-site communication, traditional time division multiplexing (TDM) voice systems, synchronous optical network (SONET)-based Ethernet, legacy data hosting, and conferencing capabilities. As of December 31, 2021, the company served approximately 4.5 million broadband subscribers. Incorporated in 1968, the organization was previously known as CenturyLink, Inc. before officially changing its name to Lumen Technologies, Inc. in September 2020. Its corporate headquarters are located in Monroe, Louisiana.
