About Maire S.p.A.
Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. is an international engineering and construction group, delivering specialized services both within Italy and globally. Its operations are structured across two core segments: Hydrocarbons and Green Energy. The Hydrocarbons division focuses on designing and building large-scale industrial facilities. This encompasses the entire natural gas value chain, from separation, treatment, and liquefaction to transportation, storage, regasification, and pumping stations. It also develops chemical and petrochemical plants for producing key materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, purified terephthalic acid, ammonia, urea, and various fertilizers. Furthermore, this segment constructs hydrocarbon-fueled electric power plants. Beyond construction, this segment licenses its patented technology and proprietary expertise to urea manufacturers, engineers and supplies fertilizer production equipment, and offers specialized services in sulfur recovery, hydrogen generation, and high-temperature furnace operations. In contrast, the Green Energy segment is dedicated to sustainable solutions. It promotes mechanical plastics recycling and the use of recycled chemicals, alongside developing renewable-based additives and substitutes for oil in fuel and plastics production. Additionally, this division delivers maintenance and facility management services, provides general support for temporary construction sites, and undertakes infrastructure design and execution. A significant part of its mandate includes engineering and constructing renewable energy plants, predominantly solar and wind power installations. Headquartered in Milan, Italy, Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. operates as a subsidiary of GLV Capital S.p.A.
