The company manages a significant fleet, including owned and operated liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, petroleum and chemical tankers, alongside specialized offshore assets such as floating storage and offloading (FSO) units, mobile offshore production units (MOPU), and semi-submersible floating production systems. In addition to vessel operations, MISC delivers extensive marine and heavy engineering services. These encompass end-to-end engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) for both offshore and onshore projects, as well as marine vessel repair and conversion. Further offerings include maritime education and training for seafarers, port and terminal management, marine transportation, integrated marine support, crew management, and dry-docking capabilities for vessels. The company also oversees the operation of Sungai Udang Port and holds various property assets. As of February 17, 2022, MISC's active fleet comprised approximately 100 owned and chartered vessels, including LNG, petroleum, and product carriers, floating production systems, and LNG floating storage units, collectively possessing a deadweight tonnage capacity of about 13 million tonnes. Established in 1968, MISC Berhad is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and operates as a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad.
