Beyond its own product line, the company manufactures APIs for both generic and proprietary drugs and provides contract manufacturing services. Orion also acts as a distributor, marketing and selling veterinary medicines produced by other international companies. Its customer base is broad, serving various healthcare providers and professionals, including specialist and general practitioners, veterinarians, pharmacies, hospitals, healthcare centers, clinics, and laboratories, as well as direct consumers with pets. Orion Oyj fosters strategic partnerships, notably with Propeller Health to embed connectivity into its Easyhaler® portfolio for asthma and COPD, and a research collaboration and license agreement with Alligator Bioscience AB (publ) focusing on the discovery and advancement of innovative bispecific antibody cancer therapeutics.
