Reliance Industries Limited, a Mumbai-headquartered Indian conglomerate founded in 1973, manages a vast array of global enterprises. Furthermore, its petrochemical segment produces a wide variety of industrial chemicals, such as high-, low-, and linear low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester fibers and yarns, purified terephthalic acid, ethylene glycols and oxide, paraxylene, ortho xylene, benzene, linear alkyl benzene, paraffin, poly butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, butyl rubber, and polyethylene terephthalate. The company's retail arm operates a comprehensive network of stores, ranging from local neighborhood shops and supermarkets to large-scale hypermarkets, wholesale cash-and-carry outlets, and specialty stores, all supported by an online presence. These retail ventures provide consumers with a wide selection of products, including apparel, beauty products, accessories, footwear, electronics, and connectivity solutions. RIL also delivers an extensive suite of digital services under its "Jio" brand. Its textile business is responsible for producing and marketing various yarns, fabrics, apparel, and automotive furnishing materials. Moreover, the conglomerate ventures into financial services, offering non-banking financial products and insurance brokerage. Other significant operations include managing news and entertainment platforms, such as Network18 and various television channels, publishing magazines, and providing highway hospitality and fleet management services.
