It was known as Télé-Métropole Inc. until its renaming in February 1998, and currently operates as a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc. The company's diverse activities are structured across four primary divisions. The Broadcasting division is dedicated to the development, production, and transmission of television programming, encompassing entertainment, sports, news, and current affairs, alongside commercial production. This segment also manages a French-language television network, promotes digital products associated with its various TV properties, and delivers custom publishing and specialized services. Its Magazines division publishes a variety of periodicals covering subjects like art, entertainment, television, fashion, and interior design, complemented by digital versions of these brands. Through its Film Production & Audiovisual Services, TVA Group provides rental options for facilities such as soundstages, mobile units, and equipment, in addition to offering expert services including dubbing, described video, post-production, and visual effects. Lastly, the Production & Distribution segment oversees the global creation and dissemination of television series, feature films, and other cinematic content.
