The Wholesale segment oversees five distribution centers situated in Germiston, Polokwane, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Durban, and Cape Town, where it sells timber-related products sourced from its own sawmills, plywood plants, and external suppliers. Lastly, the Agricultural segment includes land dedicated to orchards for avocados, citrus, and macadamia nuts, along with a fruit packaging facility and plants for producing lumber and pallets. Incorporated in 1916, the company was formerly known as The York Timber Organisation Limited before changing its name to York Timber Holdings Limited in May 2009.
