Company names are all over the app. Your portfolio, a watchlist, the calendar, a screener's results, the home screen. Every one of them was a link you followed and then had to come back from, and you lost your place doing it.
Point at one now and a card opens over it. Last price and today's move at the top, the last 90 days as a small chart, and where the stock sits in its 52-week range. Then the numbers you'd check before deciding whether to bother: market cap, P/E, dividend yield, beta, the change over twelve months. Then our factor scores out of 100, our fair value, and the margin of safety against it. At the bottom, the next earnings date and the next ex-dividend date.
It also tells you what's already yours. Whether the stock is in your portfolio, whether it's on a watchlist, whether you've got a price alert on it, and how many other investors are holding or watching it.
The card opens from a stock's own title and from its logo as well, which is useful for checking a second company against the one you're reading.
Nothing gets fetched until you point at something. On a touch screen nothing changes at all, since there is nothing there to hover over.
